About TSWA

Taiwan Small & Medium Wind Turbine Association (TSWA) was officially established on Jun., 2009 for the purpose of facilitating the development of small/medium wind industry in Taiwan. TSWA endeavors to consolidate industries, government agencies and other exterior institutions, to organize opinion and idea exchange opportunities, and to coordinate cooperation for the membership. Besides, we are working on drafting a small/medium wind incentive policy which is expected to accelerate industry development. Our members come from small/medium wind turbine industry sectors, including system, component, material, and chemical suppliers, as well as government or private research institutions, consultancies, and so on.

Our Mission

  • Facilitating the development of small/medium wind industry in Taiwan, organizing international exchange or cooperation opportunities, and providing our members a platform for information exchange in topics, including key components, system integration, testing and certification, policy and law, etc.
  • Creating domestic early market of small/medium wind by combining the resources from industry, academic and research sector to develop and promote a domestic small/medium wind turbine ultimate project.
  • Assisting our members in applying for government technology development programs.
  • Bridging the industry to the government to create an industry-friendly society and policy structure encouraging the development of small/medium wind industry.
  • Providing technical and market-exploration assistance to our members.
  • Integrating resources from domestic small/medium wind industry to promote members the chances to show up at international exhibition shows and to reinforce the opportunities of international market shares.
